Producer Kubesuv med

Kubes Mead is made from honey of The Low Jesenik Area

A family beekeeping company from Olomouc, which manages bee colonies in the forested area of Nízké Jeseník and focuses mainly on the production of mead.

Kubes manufactory is a small family beekeeping farm, founded in 2002, located in Olomouc - Neředín. The bee colonies themselves are largely located in the wooded landscape of Nízké Jeseník. This area is also suitable for bee colonies because it is relatively ecologically clean. It is not burdened by intensive industrial and agricultural production. Meadows, pastures and forests predominate here. While their beekeeping facilities are located in the hills, their mead production is not far from Olomouc.

Their intention is to produce quality honey as sparingly as possible, so that it preserves all the biologically active substances valuable for our health. They focus on obtaining special honeys, i.e. honeys in which the typical smell and taste of a certain plant prevails. How wide a variety of species honeys can be obtained that year is determined by the variability of nature.

From the autumn of 2020, we have been taking mead from the Kubes farm to the mead house, and customers have really liked the natural variants, the elderberry, and the frizzante mead, which is unique on the Czech market, is worth trying and tasting.
