The traditional Polish mead of the trójniak category (1/3 of honey) is made in a cold way, mainly from autumn honey with a small addition of spring honeys, herbs and fruit juices. Alcohol content is about 13%.
Polish mead Dwójniak is produced in a cold way by fermenting from a mixture of summer and autumn honey and water in a 1:1 ratio and with a touch of aromatic home-grown herbs.
