Lithuanian mead is a product of national heritage. 'Jūratė' mead is a fruity, light mead with a strong aroma of fresh apple and honey. Contains min. 50% honey and is filled into original bottles.

Taste: light, delicately balanced sweetness and acidity of apples.

Jūratė does not mean an apple in Lithuanian, as it might seem, but a female name, specifically the first name of the producer's wife.

The recommended serving temperature is 12-16 ° C. Used as an aperitif, suitable for snacks and desserts.

Production process

This mead was boiled before fermentation. The thermal process has certain technological advantages, however, some valuable components of honey are damaged, especially during prolonged boiling. You will not recognize the production process in taste, but it is typical for boiled mead that they are more golden in color because honey partially caramelize at high temperatures.
