Spices, herbs, black currants and rose petals enrich the distinctive honey taste and aroma with tones of fruit, herbs and spices.

Mead preserves the value of honey because it is not subjected to heat treatment. Spices, carefully selected herbs, ripe blackcurrant fruits and rose petals highlight the characteristic taste and aroma of honey with tones of fruit, herbs and spices.

In summer it tastes great and slightly chilled, in winter it warms up perfectly.

It is made according to a traditional old Polish recipe: there is two volumes of water per volume of honey.

Alcohol content 13% vol.

mead

Mead is an alcoholic beverage fermented from honey and water, with possibility of addition of other ingredients such as spices or herbs or in combination with fruit juices.

Metheglin

Metheglin is a type of mead with added (maturated) spices and herbs.

Production process

This mead was made cold. This means that during its production, the honey was not heated above 40-45 °C, which is the normal temperature in nature to which honey is resistant. At higher temperatures, some precious components of honey can be damaged and degraded. Cold-made mead is the best choice.

Producer Mazurskie Miody

The meads from this label are not boiled! It is a great value and a rarity on the market. This seems to be a mead-making strategy, which makes us very happy.
