Modern production technology amplifies the power of the old recipe of the beekeeper Fádli from the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Classic mead made from flower honey, slightly sweet taste, spicy-herbal.

It is made by the classical method, i.e. by fermentation of a solution of bee honey, water and an extract of a mixture of herbs and spices. The uniqueness of our company is that the fermentation of mead takes place at low temperatures - about 17 °C. This method guarantees better preservation of the aromatic and taste characteristics of the raw materials used.

This mead is excellent as an aperitif or as a dessert. Also suitable in combination with pastries, fruits, spicy dishes.

It is served chilled to 14 °C to 18 °C.
As a beverage to heat at 50 °C to 55 °C.

Made by fermentation of the best Slovak honeys according to a traditional recipe.

mead

Mead is an alcoholic beverage fermented from honey and water, with possibility of addition of other ingredients such as spices or herbs or in combination with fruit juices.

Metheglin

Metheglin is a type of mead with added (maturated) spices and herbs.

Type of honey

Blossom honey or nectar comes from the nectar of various flowers.

Production process

This mead is not cooked, however, during its production, the honey was heated above 50 °C for a limited time. It could be heated up to temperatures of 80 °C, when some components of honey may be degraded.

This mead is suitable for heating, but we recommend always keeping the maximum heating temperature to approx. 50-55 ° C. At higher temperatures, the precious components of honey could be damaged. For heating, we recommend sweeter and more pronounced mead, especially those with the addition of spices or herbs, the aroma of which pleasantly emerges when heated. However, you can taste the mead according to your wishes, as well as mulled wine.
