Delicious mead produced in cold way from nectar and honeydew honeys gives a distinctly guilty impression.

It is made from forest and flower honey without the addition of herbs, aromas and other additives, as well as all our mead. Only water and honey are the starting and final raw material. Mead light to watercolor with a dominant and undisturbed aroma of honey. The taste is soft, smooth, pleasantly sweet.

The amount of alcohol may vary from batch to batch.

Classical mead

Classical mead is made by fermenting honey and water without any other ingrediences. It keeps its original honey flavour and taste.

Production process

This mead was made cold. This means that during its production, the honey was not heated above 40-45 °C, which is the normal temperature in nature to which honey is resistant. At higher temperatures, some precious components of honey can be damaged and degraded. Cold-made mead is the best choice.

A family farm in the Třebíč region engaged in raising bees, obtaining bee products and their careful processing and producing natural mead using proven winemaking technologies.

Mead is made cold, just like wine is made. If this common procedure is chosen, there is no need to heat treat or boil the honey. Problematic proteins are removed by precipitation after using bentonite.
Tomáš Vorlíček produces mead exclusively from the honey of his own bee colonies, therefore not all of them are often available due to the fact that he manages a limited number of bee colonies and does not buy honey from other beekeepers.

All meads from Vorlíček's beekeeping are very popular in the Mead House and literally sometimes disappear before our eyes.
