The production of sparkling mead "peneča medica" was started around 2013 and since then they have won many awards in local and international competitions.
Sparkling mead is produced by a demanding method of secondary fermentation in the bottle. Production takes about 5 years.
The current one is the gold medal for sparkling mead from the New Your Finger lakes International Wine Competition 2018. From there also the silver medal for chestnut mead wine.
